" My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Christchurch Nursery. I feel so happy leaving her there & even if she has been upset on drop off I feel confident that she is well looked after & will be fine in the Aunties care. The Nursery are great with their communication with me & always keep me updated with how she has been, activities they have done & are planning to do! They have also been extremely helpful with information on school applications & getting my child prepared for starting school. 😊 Auntie Julie has been an amazing key worker & my daughter adores her ❤️"

"Absolutely fantastic Nursery. S is always happy to attend & has been from day one.
She talks about Auntie Max after each session & how kind she is. Auntie Max (or any other Aunties, they are all fab) always updates us on pick up about how S has been, how much lunch she’s eaten, toilet habits etc. They have helped us persevere with the potty training.
The Aunties always have smiles & are very welcoming. Claire is amazing at communication with the admin side of things & is so helpful. We would 100% recommend you to anyone! Thank you 😊 "

"We are really happy with the Nursery. O loves it there. He chats a lot about his time there. He is fond of all the Aunties & often talks about them at home. His confidence, social skills & learning has come on leaps & bounds since being with you, & I am so grateful for the experiences, love & care you provide him. All of the Aunties seem so loving & caring towards him & not only does he love going in, I feel fully confident & content leaving him in your safe, loving & capable hands. Auntie Sarah is absolutely fantastic with him. I feel she knows him & his quirks really well & we are on the same page with where he is at & the communication is great. She updates me frequently & I feel she has his best interests always at heart & is working with us to help him progress in his learning & social environment. He absolutely adores her & it shows as he loves talking about her at home".

"We are so happy with the Nursery. The security side of it is great & adhered to at all times. The amount that O brings out of Nursery that he has created is way more than expected & we love everything about it. O loves Auntie Nicki & all the other girls are so friendly. My son has an allergy & so it was really important to find the right place where I felt completely comfortable knowing that he was in safe hands. The communication has been excellent throughout & has made me feel so at ease. Attention to detail & the welcome is second to none. We think you are all super & thank you 😊"

*I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you in Nursery for looking after F. She is a different child now compared to when she started, she is so happy & very eager to always go back to school. This just shows how much all of you care for her as we do at home. "We have been absolutely thrilled with Christchurch since our daughter started. We have seen a huge improvement in her development in the 6 months she has been attending. She loves going & runs in without a backward glance every single session which is the biggest compliment you can have. She is happy to go & I feel confident in leaving her. The staff are all very friendly & all know her, & greet her by name, even when we bump in to them outside of the Nursery. We are always met by a friendly face. It is obvious that the Aunties have a passion for what they do, which is so reassuring. The whole team, without exception, are lovely - so friendly & welcoming, & I always feel as though I am well updated by whoever is at the door at pick up.
Elena, our keyperson has been amazing. Our daughter seems very fond of her & she has been so supportive in identifying & assessing our daughters needs, including researching & informing us of the speech & language clinic & then supporting us through the referral to the SENCO & paediatrician. She has always been empathetic & helpful. At our meetings, I always feel as though Elena has a really good understanding of her. Terri was also brilliant during the referral process & we both felt really supported, well informed & reassured. A lovely Nursery. We are very glad we chose Christchurch."

"T has come on amazingly since starting at the Nursery at 2 years old. All the Aunties in both Rainbow Room & Sunshine Room have been supportive in guiding him through his learning journey. Despite some tough family situations recently, his Keyworker Laura has been extra supportive in helping him with his challenging behaviour & emotions, as well as supportive to myself also. Would highly recommend the Nursery to new parents".

"We feel the Nursery is very well managed. Excellent communication - it is fast, reasoned & caring. We feel our voices are heard, even if it is a lost toy that in the scheme of things doesn’t really matter!
The weeks are well structured (which again is communicated to us) & T always comes home with different items she’s made, or tells us about the different tasks she has been involved with.
She loves all of her Aunties, & loves Auntie Terri’s hairdressing & cooking skills - &, well, the love from Auntie Mandy is second to none. T feels right at home with Auntie Mandy & even tells us she wants to stay. T has really progressed in personality, imagination & confidence since joining this pre-school.

"Firstly, a big thank you to Auntie Georgina & Auntie Sam, not forgetting the rest of the Aunties, they have made such a massive improvement with my daughter in such a short space of time. Her confidence has grown massively, she always comes home saying how good her day has been, the Aunties understand her anxieties in crowded places & go out of their way to support her & also show her everything is OK. I am always seeing the Aunties smiling, welcoming & bringing positive energy even at 9 AM. Definitely the best Nursery around where a child is not just a number, but part of a family ❤️. A big thank you for all the staff, some may not realise how much of an impact they have on some of the children".

"S has always been settled at Christchurch Nursery. The Aunties are all lovely and friendly and are supportive of the children and parents. Auntie Julie is the best of the best and S adores her ❤️. She has already spoke about missing her when she goes to big school 😔
Claire and Chloe are great and have an amazing team behind them, where they provide a happy, safe, caring, supportive, informative and educational setting for the children.

"Fantastic Pre-school all 6 of my children have attended here the youngest still attending. Will be sad when she leaves this year as this Nursery has been part of my life on and off for 13 years. Staff are kind and go above and beyond. I recommend to anyone looking for a Nursery in the area."

"This is by far the best Nursery for our child & ourselves as parents, we arranged a fair few to go visit after looking at all their info online & Ofsted reports, none felt quite right, they all are nice enough in their way but didn't have it all in terms of what we wanted as an environment away from home for us. As first time parents what we wanted was one we felt 1000% reassured by, whilst having that 'Miss Honey' from Matilda vibe, and not too far from home. Amazingly one we overlooked was Christchurch until someone we knew recommended it, so we went down to view & I can't stress how immediately at ease & reassured we felt, it was what we were looking for in a Nursery & the way in which the staff are 'Aunties' to the children who attend there is really special & you see that in the immediate & positive bond the children have with each auntie, they have a keyworker assigned to them but can comfortably move around for support & care from any of the 'Aunties'.
The space is big enough with a small outside area which is cleverly used to maximise it's potential but that doesn't stop the Nursery as they make the most of little outings & other places to visit outside for their outdoor time. The classes aren't oversubscribed (another win in our book!), it's a clean, welcoming environment, which is based in a church hall but there is no religious influence other than the odd bake sale or similar invite which is just part of being a community & is very separate from the pre-school areas in use. If your child is yet to be potty trained do not worry as the Aunties can help with that transition & are very understanding of the different stages & pace each child is at/approaching.
The 'Aunties' all have a great rapport with the children in their care, as well as their own unique skills & training which really creates a diverse, capable & cohesive team who all bring something to their workplace & can utilise to ensure the utmost safety & well-being of each child individually & as a group.
The Nursery has a FB page and new website which is so easy & informative to use! On FB they have their own market too which is a lovely extra & many events held throughout the year.
Claire the Manager is very on the ball & understanding & has the running of the Nursery in good order with the support of the 'Aunties', very responsive to any queries be it in person, email or by telephone.
Staff will happily spend the time they can to talk with you, particularly when you collect your children advise how their day has been, as well as send home a little update sheet of how the day went for your little one as an overview, you of course have the Tapestry app too where both staff & parent alike can upload photos & information on what activities the children have enjoyed as well as any trips out. The children all seem to get on well & my little one has made lots of friends here & often speaks of what they have been doing with her classmates and 'Aunties', brings home lots of their artwork and makes, lots of dancing, singing, outdoor play, tuff tray activities, Dough Disco, role play & so on!
There is a steady amount of (not too much or too little) in year reviews with the Nursery and your child's keyworker to review their progress & a good link with the health visitors when they are needed."
